I remember a guy that has mailed well over 1000 resumes with not one single bite. It would seem that's all he knows to do in the current job environment. But I've got to ask this man how many resumes will he have to mail before he realizes he is doing a churning of your own? You know the old saying: if you don't want to go bats from doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting different results, then do something different.
So what can a people do that's different? Sure, keep posting out those resumes, but remember this: not only are all jobs ephemeral, but ways of securing employment also come and go and have a lifespan, which ends with, "The old way just doesn't work anymore."
