So the morning started with me racing about attempting to get to my workplace on time. Some mornings are more difficult than others. The good thing is the commuter bus was late so I didn't miss it and I was only a few minutes late to the office.

We went on the San Francisco dinner cruise and the team and my boss had a great time. They took pictures of the terrific sights and joked around. The evening meal was great and dessert was quite possibly better (I have a huge sweet tooth). After dinner the DJ spun dance music and everyone danced with their girlfriends or wives and pretty soon the old locomotion was in full swing. It was comical and a wonderful way for our office to get to know the corporate guys.

It was such a success that a couple months afterwards my manager called me into his large office and gave me a promotion and a raise.
