My Own Undeniable Favorite Rifle Scope
The other afternoon, a close friend and I were out hunting when he asked me which rifle scope I would suggest to him. He owned one, but it is very old and also had taken a beating for all of these years. He was prepared to buy a new one and wanted suggestions from me, knowing that I had tested dozens of scopes in the past several years.
I let him know that, of course it depends upon what he is hunting and exactly where, however I know his hunting habits, so I was comfortable providing a suggestion for him anyway. I suggested virtually any scope from Bushnell. They are simply my personal favorite scope producer hands down. Everything I have ever purchased from them has been of extremely good quality and lasts forever. Furthermore, any difficulty I have ever had with them (not many) has been resolved very quickly through their awesome customer support.
The scope I ended up recommending to my buddy was a Bushnell 3200. This really is an excellent, lower priced scope (if he wanted a higher priced one, I would have suggested the Bushnell 4200). Realizing that my friend can hunt in any weather conditions, it had been important that this scope was rain repellent along with a generous light transmission factor. What this means is he can use this in almost any weather and in lower levels of light also.
